Dans un monde où la nature vit en symbiose avec la mécanique, un petit groupe de chasseurs-cueilleurs est traumatisé par un évènement qui a décimé leur tribu, les poussant à craindre et à restreindre leur part mécanique. Mais la plus jeune, Pump, va comprendre la nécessité de vivre en harmonie avec cette part d’elle-même.
In a world where Nature blends seamlessly with machine parts, a small group of hunter-gatherers is traumatized by an event that wiped out their tribe, pushing them to inhibit their machine side. But the youngest, Pump, will understand the necessity to live harmoniously with it.

Nemo Leeuwenburg, Geoffroy Eleonore, Tristan Lavallée Luminet, Corentin Perrot et Anthony Nguyen, tous formés à l’école Georges Méliès et passionnés d’animation, se sont réunis pour créer leur film de fin d’études “Mécanique Sauvage”. Venus d’horizons variés (cinéma, bande dessinée, VFX, animation TV, illustration), ils partagent le même désir d’immerger le spectateur dans des univers visuellement intenses et porteurs d’émotion. Nemo relie cinéma et BD dans sa mise en scène. Geoffroy sublime mondes réels et fictifs par ses compétences en 3D, compositing et VFX. Tristan explore la narration et la 3D avec ambition. Corentin met sa rigueur et son expérience en animation au service du projet. Anthony, passionné de dessin et d’animation japonaise, apporte sa sensibilité et son sens du mouvement. Ensemble, ils signent un court métrage étudiant puissant et immersif qui mêle savoir-faire technique et récit visuel.
Nemo Leeuwenburg, Geoffroy Eleonore, Tristan Lavallee Luminet, Corentin Perrot and Anthony Nguyen, all passionate about animation, came together to create their graduation film “Mecanique Sauvage”. Coming from diverse backgrounds (film, comics, VFX, TV animation, illustration), they share the same ambition of immersing audiences in visually intense and emotionally charged worlds. Nemo bridges cinema and comics through his direction. Geoffroy enhances real and fictional worlds with his 3D, compositing and VFX expertise. Tristan brings a strong focus on storytelling and 3D. Corentin contributes his rigor and animation experience. Anthony, inspired by drawing and Japanese animation, adds sensitivity and a keen sense of movement. Together they deliver a powerful, immersive student short film blending technical mastery and visual storytelling.
