La jeune Naya se retrouve sans cesse privée de son père à cause de son travail incessant. Cette fois-ci motivée par son émission de pêche favorite, son imaginaire sera son meilleur appât pour retenir son poisson légendaire: son père.
Little Naya’s father is always taken away from her because of his endless job. Only this time, motivated by her favorite fishing tv show, she takes on the quest of catching the legendary fish: her father.

Julia Ragot, Gabrielle Montané, Hector de Ghaisne de Bourmont, Ilona Laouchez, Florent Delay et André Yu, tous diplômés de l’École Georges Méliès, signent ensemble “Il n’y a qu’un poisson dans l’eau”. Chacun apporte une sensibilité singulière : Julia et Gabrielle, déjà autrices de courts-métrages et d’albums jeunesse, insufflent leur goût du récit sensible et de l’image animée. Hector, technical director, relie art et technologie. Ilona, passionnée de storyboard et d’animation, traduit au plus près les émotions humaines. Florent, animateur 3D, et André, FX artist, apportent rigueur et innovation technique. Ensemble, ils livrent un film poétique où narration et esthétique s’entrelacent.
Julia Ragot, Gabrielle Montane, Hector de Ghaisne de Bourmont, Ilona Laouchez, Florent Delay and Andre Yu, all graduates of the Georges Melies Anomation school, came togethe to create “Catch that fish*!*”. Each brings a unique sensibility: Julia and Gabrielle, already authors of short films and children’s books, infuse their taste for heartfelt storytelling and animated imagery. Hector, as technical director, bridges art and technology, Ilona, passionate about storyboarding and animation, conveys human emotions at their most tangible. Florent, a 3D animator, and Andre, a 3D FX artist, contribute rigor and technical innovation. Together, they deliver a poetic film where narrative and aesthetics intertwine.
